Our Classroom: the Focus of Our 2025 Fundraising Campaign
Among the rooms on the first floor at Copper Ridge Conference Centre (CRCC) is a classroom for 30 people. For St. Josemaría, education was integral to the development of the whole person, and so he often used the word ‘formation’. He saw that young people needed to be formed, helped to grow, and become good people. But he also saw formation as something everyone needs and he said it was a life-long process. This formation of each generation is our ongoing focus at CRCC.
In his classic and most famous work, “The Way”, St. Josemaría said, “Study. Study in earnest. If you are to be salt and light, you need knowledge, ability…” (No. 340)
With this in mind, we raised funds dedicated to CRCC’s classroom, a place where people can learn and grow. Donors will be recognized in a “Donor Appreciation” photo book which will reside in the CRCC Living Room. In December, 2025 we reached our goal of $550,000 and eternally grateful for the support of so many donors. The name selected for the Classroom is the “Sea to Sky Learning Centre” and it is dedicated “With blessings for all who will teach and learn ‘the way’ in this classroom.”

Additional Opportunity – Supporting Our Priests
The teacher in our classroom is often one of the Opus Dei priests. When they are at Copper Ridge, the priests stay in the two-bedroom apartment located in the Gate House. This too is available for donation.
